Artificial Grass

Artificial Grass comes in a range of different styles, pile heights, widths and colours, making it ideal for gardens, roof terraces, putting greens, patios, and play areas. It is an ideal solution for people with pets and children, allowing outside play without having to deal with mud and mess being trampled into the house.  Its a great consideration for people who suffer with allergies, with no mowing and no pollen, sufferers can enjoy the garden to the full with no fear of allergic reaction.

The most important part of the project is the Sub-base deciding on depth due to ground type then materials due to use as not every installation is necessarily the same - this is one of the reasons why we're different to most volume installers.

Sub Base

It depends on the ground where its being installed and the use of the area but this is the critical step in any artificial lawn. If the ground is clay and holding water then consideration needs to be given to the depth of the base for drainage for example

If you've dogs, especially female dogs, we need to ensure their waste/mess can drain and then not hold the smell so Limestone is a great solution although all lawns will require maintenance to ensure appearance and cleanliness.

We use composite materials in the base so it lasts for the the life of the lawn, wood is commonly used which rots within 5 years so minimal extra cost will ensure longevity - we don't just install your lawn we consider everything!

Grass Choices

There is a plethora of suppliers to choose from out there and in the main they're all pretty much the same through the various ranges.

Normal economy, mid-range and premium grasses to chose from to fit every budget within reason, the look of the grass is normally the dominant factor in choosing with some suppliers building in pet friendly products but to be fair, generally,  all of them are.

Product warranty- manufacturer warranty is a consideration also.

We've chosen a supplier based upon all the above considerations and there are just a few of the choices below - we bring samples with us when we quote as all images can look the same.

Directional Grass - 50mm of straight and curly grass giving a really asthetic look

43mm soft grass combining light and dark shades popular with young families

Economy - 30mm mixed shade grass ideal for larger areas available in 4m & 5m

Premium - 50mm two layer cushioned grass - probably the most realistic in the range

Golf Greens

All golfers would love a space to practice what some would say is the biggest part of the game "Drives for show Putts for Pro"

Create a dedicated area or build a little green into the lawn area.......

When it comes to Artificial putting greens, the drainage system is a little different than with landscape grass. Putting green turf does not always have drainage holes in the backing as this would diminish performance, but rather the water trickles off the edges. This places even more importance on the base construction. Compaction is extremely important so that the base does not settle over time. When it comes to contouring the green, it’s important to have some kind of subtle slope for drainage.
